One Nation Under GOD

Growing up as kid I stood for the flag, respected my elders, ate what was made for dinner, and said my prayers,  I am glad I grew up when I did, Kids played outside, our parents worked hard, Some mothers were homemakers by choice. You could speak your mind and you were not censored. There was no internet, cell phones. video games were in their infancy. Life was simple and do you know what? I would not trade that life for anything in the world. Our nation is in BIG trouble and we need to pray to GOD that things go right. (literally) I have faith and I will never lose faith. Eventually, these crazy things will stop.  We need a STRONG LEADER!  We need our patriots out there voting in person. We need to live our lives again! We need to be FREE because of the brave! Let FREEDOM RING! God is good and life is good. You have GOD, your health and your family. We need GOD more than anything right now.  Thank you for reading my blog. Now onto the next life lesson.

WOW another Halloween is here! The witches , goblins, ghosts, and monsters are out! It will be a full moon. Do you like Halloween? Do you have a favorite memory of Halloween?  I loved my neighborhood as a kid the whole block decorated for Halloween and all the kids went trick or treating. It was so much fun. My favorite costume as a kid was my princess costume. I had a tiara, a pink dress, and a magic wand. I was also Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz in the third grade. I had a beautiful costume. I had braids in my hair, a basket with a dog, and my dress matched hers. My mom and I used to decorate the house. She loved to decorate at the holidays. I miss that now my girls help me decorate. I refuse to put out ugly decorations.  I like to put out fall ones. It sounds silly but it is true. People are very creative in my area. There is even a contest.  Now my youngest still loves to trick or treat and she is looking forward to it because her friend is coming over.  She will have a friend with her this year. It makes my heart smile knowing she is INCLUDED and participating.  Make sure you include anyone that needs a friend you never know how they feel. When you are by yourself and you hear the giggling and the laughter it hits you in the heart.  Be a friend to a lonely monster, ghost, or goblin. Go ahead I DARE YOU! HA HAHAHAHAHAHHA (Said like Vincent Price) Now onto the next life lesson.

What’s for dinner?

The classic question usually asked after breakfast and when the kids get home from school.  Yes, the million dollar question What’s for dinner? Well, I used to ask them BIG mistake because I get a thousand different answers and finally yes I did I put up a menu! What a genius idea! When I was little you ate what my mom made and that was it.  Fast forward many years later and I am doing the same thing. Thank you Mom!  You eat what your mom makes plain and simple.  The question is now solved. Breakfast is every other day hot breakfast and lunch is leftovers or something I can make quickly. The food impossible quest has been solved. Of course by MOM! Let’s hear it for MOM YAYYYYY!! ( I can hear your applause) You know if you are a mom you can relate to this question! So next time your kids ask what’s for dinner you put up a menu and they read it. They get some practice reading and you get five minutes of silence while they read.  Everyone wins when it comes to dinner. Thank you for reading my blog and do not forget my new book comes out soon . The King’s and Queens of Aberdale High!  Now onto the next life lesson.

The Unknown

No one likes the unknown. We like to be prepared.  We like to know what is going to happen next. It is scary not knowing what will happen next. It is the uncertainty that scares us the most. We have the fear building up inside us. We have that stress that is building.  What will happen? What can we do? What is next? The fear invades your soul. It takes over and you have no choice. This is no way to live. We do not want to live in fear. I know I want peace and I want to know what comes next. It is the comfort of knowing that makes us feel comfortable. It is the comfort of knowing that we are safe. There is no better feeling it the world than peace and comfort. Do you feel comfort? Are you at peace? How do you feel?  Are you in fear? What are your thoughts? What is your biggest fear? I just continue to pray for peace and comfort. Two very simple things that are sometimes hard to come by. Thank you for reading my blog. Now onto the next life lesson.

Personalities, Moods, and the way you want to live

We all have different personalities. Some of us are outgoing, some of us are introverted. Others are some where in between. What is your personality? Do you like to socialize or stay at home and read or stream movies? Are you a partyer? Do you prefer to go to bed early? Are you abrasive or shy? I think I am a mixture of a little outgoing and more toward staying home. There are times I want to get dressed up and others I prefer pajamas. I do like to go to bed early during the week. Do you like to be social?  There are so many personalities out there. Some people are always smiling and laughing maybe others are sad and prefer to be alone. I have to admit I like quiet and I like to be with my family. There are times I want be social and then i will text a friend make a plan for a girls night. I like to be in control of what I am going to do.  There are times a party sounds nice and others it does not. It depends on my mood.  What is your mood  most of the time? I hope you do what you love and enjoy life. We only have one life to live. Now onto the next life lesson.

Peace of Mind

Why is such a simple word so hard to come by?  Why is it that peace is so difficult to find? If you have found peace that you are one lucky  person.  Life is so hectic. I feel like I am running in a million directions. My one therapy is writing. This is MY time to think and create and become a part of a world that I can control and be happy. It is has truly been a long time since I have had any peace. The past few years have been upside down . What about you? Are you at peace with your life? I am grateful and I am not complaining I just wish I had a little more peace of mind. There are to many balls in the air. I  do not do well with change or aggravation. I do no think anyone does. My advice is avoid ANYONE who causes that. KEEP AWAY. I hope that one day I find closure and peace with certain situations. How do you relax? How do you find peace? What do you do that makes you happy? My writing and my blog make me happy. Maybe that is my peace. What do you think? Now onto the next life lesson.

The Holidays and Your Traditions

Every year it is the same old story. We plan for the holidays. We shop, we cook, we prepare lots of delicious dishes, and we sit around and talk.  We are so fortunate we get to do all of this. I am grateful we can ALL celebrate.  It is a crazy time and honestly I never thought in a million years that I would be living through such crazy times. We have to remember that things will get better and STOP listening to the lunatics and the media. Enjoy your family, your close friends, enjoy life, and smile take time out to smell the roses. What are your plans for the holidays? What do you like to cook or bake? I enjoy the holidays because my kids love the holidays. When I was a little girl my mom made Christmas so special. She decorated the house and put up a beautiful tree. We were not Catholic but she loved Christmas. We celebrated Hanukkah too but Christmas was for us. She always went out of  her way to make it special, One year I looked out the window and saw Santa sliding down our lawn on a sleigh. I will never forget that as long as I live.  I never stopped believing in the magic of Christmas. I hope and pray for lots of Christmas miracles. What about you? Do you still believe? I think with God and prayer we can get through this. Do not give up on God or Christmas. Always have faith. Now onto the next life lesson.

Blog fans

How many of you there read my blog everyday? How many of you like it? What do you think about it? How did you hear about it? I hope you are enjoying it because I love writing in it.  I want to hear from you. Do you have any ideas of what I should write about? I will always think of something. I like to relate to my readers. I want them to feel like they can laugh or cry at what I wrote. Do you ever laugh or cry at what I write? Do you get mad? I had one reader get mad once I felt awful and I apologized because I was so upset and I was not myself right after my father passed. All is okay now and I am glad. I will not get into that only that I was truly sorry. We all make mistakes and sometimes situations  trigger things and that is okay. I made peace and life can go on now. I try and write about positive things but every once in awhile I feel I have to inform my readers when something is not right. I will always be fair and honest. I hope you will too. To all my readers and fans I appreciate you and I want you to know that I write for you. Keep on reading and I will keep on writing. Now onto the next life lesson.

We live in a country where we are free because of the brave. We are blessed to have all the great things our country has to offer. We the People, do not forget that. We need to get out their and vote for our freedom! We need to protect our freedom and our people.  We are the land of opportunity and we are the BEST country in the world. I want my kids to grow up in a country where they are free and able to have opportunity to prosper. I do not want socialism or communism that is NOT good. I never get political but today I feel I have to .  Read the constitution, brush up om your history. remember our we got here. We have fought many wars BUT never took over any country we helped make other countries better. I heard this man on the news speak and he was 100 years old and a veteran He said that and that is so true!!! God bless America! He fought for OUR freedom,  He and many other men and woman have fought for our freedom.  I do not want to be told by the government what to do. To much government control is no good! We are the People, by the people! We need American dreams to live on and on. Get out there and Vote for the right candidate. Now onto the next life lesson.

During these crazy times we cannot forget to count our blessings. We should always be grateful. I am grateful for my health. my family, and that I have a roof over my head.  I am grateful for fresh air, and food to eat. I am thankful for little things in life. How about you? What are you thankful for? How do you feel blessed each day? Do you count your blessings? Do you appreciate everything you have? One more thing to be grateful for is friendship. A real good friend who is honest and true is hard to come by. I do not need a million friends. I could only have  handful and be happy with that. What about you? Do you need a ton of friends? I feel no matter what if we can be grateful for just one thing we are already a head of the game. I do not need a parade of people. People come and go but real TRUE friends stick by you no matter what.  I wonder why some just go and never call or text again? Maybe they have moved on and feel they need to you leave you behind. I knew this one person we were friends for awhile and then all of the sudden I did not hear from them anymore. No calls, no texts, nothing. I sent two emails, texts and left a voice mail. I can take a hint. I just wish I knew why. I wish them well,  Hold onto the good ones. Hold onto the ones that make time for you. Know the difference between a true friend,  a fly by night, and a fair weather friend. I feel it is their problem if they abandon you. If they feel they do not want to be your friend than that is their decision. Nothing you can do about it.  Even though it hurts eventually it will go away and someone else will come along because everything happens for a reason. Continue being you and be the best you. Those who left are missing out on a really good friend.  If this person is reading this than you know who you are. (G) Now onto the next life lesson.
