Turn Back Time

If you could turn back time, where would you go? What would you do? Would you bring someone back? Would you prevent something from happening? What if it messed up history and certain things could not happen because you went back in time and fixed your mistake? Would it be worth it? Maybe just correcting one thing would mess something up. There are so many things I wish I could change however, that is just meant to be. Everything happens for a reason. We may not realize it at that time but I believe that is true. There are events and people you just cannot change. You wish you could but you can’t. You wish that things could be different. You miss your loved ones or just an old friend that you wish would come to her senses.

All of that said, you can always wish it does not mean it will happen. Maybe you need to talk to God. God is always listening. Prayer is so powerful. I know I do it all the time. Life is good for the most part. I have learned so much being a mom and a wife. I would not trade it for anything in the world.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and we all realize how grateful we are for everything in our lives.

Thanksgiving

How do you celebrate thanksgiving? Do you have family over? Do you travel? Do you have a Friendsgiving? However, you celebrate I hope you are happy and content. We need to stop and think about how grateful we are to be alive and free. Never forget where you came from. Say your prayers and always say thank you. What are your most memorable Thanksgivings? Who was with you? How did you celebrate?

I always want to remember the good times. What about you? I wish all of my readers a wonderful and Happy Thanksgiving!

Thankful, Scared or Anxious

What are you thankful for? There must be something you are thankful for. I am thankful that I am healthy, I have a great family. I love my husband and my two girls. Oh how could I forget my fur baby . I love my dog. We all have anxiety and fear. I know I have a lot of anxiety. I am scared about the countries safety. I am scared for my kids. I am frightened for the future. Am I more scared than thankful. I feel like whenever I turn a corner I feel I always hit a road block or I have something else hanging over my head. Are you scared? How do you feel most of the time? Are you afraid of the future? Is life good for you? All I know is I have faith.. If I lose my faith than I am real trouble. Do you have faith? I want to hear from you.

It is okay to be scared but we must live our lives to the fullest. If we are upset all the time we might miss something good. Take deep breaths and try and be positive. Life is good and It is what you make of it. Take a chance and reach for the stars no one can take that away from you. Be the best YOU that you can be. Talk to someone if you need to. Ask for help if you need it. Do not sweat the small stuff. It is not easy I know but just try.

Holidays

What do you do for the holidays? Do you have traditions? Do you gather with your family? I know I cherish all the time I have with my family. I want my girls always to remember the good times and the memories that we make as a family. Family is so important. Friends come and go but family is family. We stick together. Even some friends could be family. I hope all of you gather as a family and share wonderful memories. Cherish your time with family. Hold onto the memories. Now onto the next life lesson.

Watch your Words

More than you know people can hurt with their words. Even the people that you love. You cannot take them back . It is is you said that is it. It is not only what you say it is how you say it. I am not saying hold back from speaking the truth but try and remember who you are talking to and remember if you love them watch your words. Watch your tone and they way you say things. There is nothing wrong with being honest I admire that however, there is something wrong with being cruel and saying something to someone in a way that stings. It is a constant sting. It never goes away the words keep being said and no matter what they never leave your mind, It is not only physical abuse but verbal abuse hurts to. There is nothing funny about a sad face. There is nothing funny about hurting someone.

If you love someone show them and tell them treat them with kindness and remember to speak with kindness. Now onto the next life lesson.

Holidays

What are your plans for the holidays? Do you host? Do you cook? Are you having family or friends over? Whatever you do I hope it is calm, peaceful, and filled with good food and love. What is your favorite dish that you eat around the holidays? Do you make mashed potatoes from scratch? Do you eat Turkey for Thanksgiving? What about Christmas and Hanukkah? How do you celebrate your holidays? Do you have family traditions? Do you have a big family? While we sit and eat and talk about the events throughout the year holidays can bring stress and with everything going on who wants to talk about the events of the world? I know I don’t. I think people need to pray more and mediate. I think people need to ask God for help. I think our entire nation needs gods hands.

When I was a little girl when my mom was alive, we celebrated all of the holidays. After she passed, we never celebrated anything. It was really sad. I remember watching a neighbor we will call her M and I used to see her whole family over for the holidays and it made me sad that I would be sitting looking out the window while a big family crowd gathered at her house. My Dad would say, “Do not bother her that is her family.” I would just sit there and hope that maybe my dad would change his mind and we would do something special. I never said anything to M would it have made a difference? I do not think so.

I hope that no one has to go through not celebrating a holiday. I hope everyone has someone no matter if they are ten people or one other person as long as you are not alone it makes it nice to share a special day with someone. I will pray that everyone has someone. Now onto the next life lesson.

Love Letters

Have you ever gotten a love letter? Have you ever heard of a great love story? Have you ever found old love letters? I think we have forgotten how to communicate. I think we are so consumed by electronics and other things that we have gotten away from real love stories. You hear people say back in the good ol days. I would love to hear a real genuine love story of two people who wrote to each other and found their way to each other. Does anyone know of a good love story? There is so much garbage out there so many negative things that we are just so jaded. I do not know about you but I am tired of bad news. I want to hear positive news.

Where are the lovers and the heroes? Where are the men fighting for their woman? Where are the love stories? I want someone to comment in my post about a positive story or a love story. I want to hear some good news. If you read this blog I want everyone to do an act of kindness or tell me a love story. Let’s spread some good cheer and good news. Happiness needs to take over the darkness. I know you have it in you now lets get it done.

I will always pray for my family and my country. Be the best YOU!

Nothing is Free

As you go through life you realize no matter what anyone tells you there is no such thing as free. You have to earn your way. You have to work hard and get nice things. You are NOT entitled to anything for nothing. You have to work for it. Nothing comes easy. Do you think that our ancestors that came here from other countries to Ellis Island had it easy? NO, of course not they had to work hard and make the American Dream happen. If they gave up where would you be? If you want something in life you have to make it happen. No one is going to do it for you. If you work hard and save your money you will have a good life. If I could offer any advice it would be to work hard, save your money, pay your bills and then treat yourself. Manage your time and be good to yourself and be kind to others. Parents Matter

Yes, Parents matter! We chose to have children and raise them. This is America and our voice matters! I see people taking a stand and I am so proud of those Patriotic Parents. I am proud that some one is standing up. I remember fighting for my daughter and her education. No one was held ACCOUNTABLE! My favorite word now so many parents are realizing what i was fighting for. People need to stand up and fight for what is right. All of these people saying terrible things about this country are not patriots they are UN AMERICAN! If you hate it so much find some where better and as the kids used to say I double dog dare you. I am the daughter of a true patriot and I am glad that he raised me how he did. Believe in your country, work hard, and fight for your freedom . God bless the ones fighting. Keep on making a difference. Believe in your kids and if the people of the education world are fighting you that means they have something to hide. Your kids come first keep up the good work Patriots!!!
